A short film — the monologue of a depressed father as he swings between despair and hope on the last day of his life.
A traveler's spontaneous journey to Apatity, an Arctic mining town near the Finnish border. After a conference in Moscow, the trip pushed on into rural Russia in search of huskies, seals, and the northern lights across frozen rivers, Soviet-era structures, and Orthodox churches — ending in a barbecue with locals on the shores of the White Sea. Soundtracked by a composition from Agnes Obel.
